Highlights and Balayage questions
Highlights are lightened sections placed in foils for brightness throughout or around the face, including the partial highlight many of our clients book with a trim. Balayage is hand painted for a softer, sun lit result that grows out gently. Both are offered here; your stylist will recommend the one that fits the brightness you want and the upkeep you are happy with.
Yes. A partial highlight brightens the top and the face framing sections and is a popular maintenance visit between full services. One client review from June 2026 describes a partial highlight and trim by Angie and simply says it looks beautiful. Book the partial on Vagaro, or pair it with a haircut for a full refresh in one visit.
Lightening is a chemical service, so your stylist assesses your hair condition and history first and will tell you honestly what your hair can take. Services are paced to protect the hair, and toning and conditioning are part of the finish. If your hair needs recovery first, we will say so and suggest a keratin or conditioning path instead of pushing a service.
A partial highlight usually fits in a shorter visit, while a full highlight or full balayage takes longer for placement, processing and toning. The Vagaro booking page holds the right amount of time for the service you pick. Arrive with dry hair in its natural part if you can, since that helps your stylist place the light accurately.
